We’ve been on the road for three full months now! Here’s a video update of how things are going on the road. Some things have remained the same from our “regular” life while other things have adjusted significantly.

Nick still works and the girls still do school – just from home instead of out of the house. We cook regular meals just like we did in our sticks and bricks house – it’s not just barbecues and smores every night like when we’d be on a camping vacation.

We get outside MUCH more than we did before. With such a small space, kicking the kids out or taking a break alone outdoors helps us get along throughout the day. We also have more freedom to take hikes and bike rides together or explore the area because we’ve cut out all commute times.

The biggest challenge has been rainy days, which we seem to have had a lot of in just three months. Our tiny space seems extra tiny when we have a week of rain. We’re learning to get better at finding ways to get out to inside spaces like museums on those rainy days.
