Final Italian Vacation

Italy

When planning out our last few months in Italy, we made sure to squeeze in a few “last” trips.  The trip at the top of my list was to vacation by the sea. We were able to do this twice, once when we traveled with family in the spring, and now again in the heat of summer.

We opted for a camping village/resort which is really the way to go in our opinion. Our location, Isamar Holiday Village near Sottomarina was a quick 1 hour drive from Padova, and it didn’t disappoint! We stayed in a small mobile home in the village of about 2,000 guests. The property was full of different types of homes, but never seemed over crowded. There was so much to do on the property…5 pools, water slides, beach, restaurants, spa, grocery store, gelato stands, playground, kid disco party, exercise classes, kid activities…. we only just scratched the surface of all the place had to offer.

The visit was a perfect break from packing and preparing to move, while also being a final farewell to vacations in Italy. AND…Lana learned to swim on this trip. Both of our girls learned how to swim on Italian summer vacations – that’s something they’ll always remember.
